Prize-winning author Kate Gallison lives with her librarian husband in the quirky town of Lambertville, New Jersey. She has been at various times a store clerk, a computer programmer, a technical writer, and a museum docent. Her published writings include UNBALANCED ACCOUNTS and two other private eye novels in the Nick Magaracz series, BURY THE BISHOP and four other traditional mysteries featuring Episcopal minister Lavinia Grey, THE ORGANIZER, a fantasy that asks the question: What would happen if someone tried to unionize a software house? and GIRL ON THE RUN, a vaguely dystopian YA suspense novel.
Under the name of Irene Fleming, she wrote two mystery stories set in the world of silent movie production in the early twentieth century, THE EDGE OF RUIN (winner of the New Jersey Studies Academic Alliance fiction prize for 2011) and THE BRINK OF FAME.
Her latest effort, FREDDIE ZORN AND THE DARK INVADERS, is a spy story that takes place in New York City during the early days of World War I.
